The purpose and intent of this invitation to bid is to establish contract(s) with experienced, qualified, bonded, and licensed, contractors to provide for HVAC services including installation and repair as well as preventative maintenance services.Establishing firm fixed hourly labor rates and percentage (%) mark-up on parts. Services are to include all labor, personnel, supervision, equipment, supplies, and materials, etc. to perform work on designated tasks, which cannot be handled in-house. Services will be required on an as needed basis, for small, anticipated, future projects, district wide. Projects associated with this bid shall not exceed dollar threshold per School Board Policy. Services or tasks include, but are not limited to: - Pipe Welding by Certified Welders (on staff); - Chiller Disposal; - HVAC Tune-Ups; - Roof Top and Window Units; - General Maintenance & Repairs; - Replace Exhaust Fans; - Miscellaneous AC Modifications; - Installation of Piping & Ductwork; - Compressor Repairs; - Remove & Replace Ceilings Prior to Work; - Connect/Disconnect Water Supply & Return Lines - Pipe/Duct Insulation - Chiller Installation - Cooling Tower Repair Preventative maintenance services, under this contract, are to include coil cleaning, air filter replacement and flushing of the mechanical systems. In addition, the district is also seeking firm fixed percentage (%) discounts off manufacturer's current published price list, catalog, etc. for the purchase and deliver of HVAC equipment, parts, supplies, accessories, etc. Such items include, but are not limited to: - Air Conditioning Equipment - Heating Equipment - Ventilation Equipment - Various HVAC Parts & Supplies
