This Invitation to Tender (the "ITT") is an invitation by the City of Peterborough (the "City") to prospective bidders to submit bids for Simcoe Street Parking Garage New Stairwell Doors at 190 Simcoe Street, Peterborough, as further described in Section D.1 of the ITT Particulars (Appendix D) (the "Deliverables"). Through this ITT, the City is seeking to retain the services of a qualified General Contractor to complete the New Stairwell Door Installation in accordance with all details, requirements and specifications set out in or attached to this ITT. All bidders must carry Trent Security as a sub-contractor and their bid for their portion of the work shall form part of the total bid price. Refer to Attachment 3 for more details. The General Contractor shall complete the work in accordance with all details, requirements and specifications set out in or attached to this ITT. - Remove and dispose of existing stairwell doors; - Install new stairwell door assemblies; - Supply and install new door hardware; - Include electric door strikes which will be wired by the Security Contractor; and - Power and control wiring as required to complete new electric door strikes.
