Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Richmond, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
Scope of Work of the Contract includes the following: approx-imately 13,400 S.Y. of 6-lnch concrete pavement and 1,600 S.Y. of 7-inch concrete pave-ment. Bids received after the closing time will not be accepted. The electronic bids will be publicly opened and read via conference call. Physical bids will not be accepted. Due to the current COVID -19 pandemic, large public gather-ings are not permitted by law. Bids will be publicly read aloud at the time bids are due via teleconference call. Each Bid must be accompan-ied by a 8id Bond or a certified or cashier's check, acceptable to the Owner, in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount Bid, as a guar-antee that the successful bid-der will enter into the Contract and execute the Bonds on the forms provided, and provide the required insurance certificates within seven (7) days alter the date Contract Documents are received by the Contractor. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive all defects and irregularit-ies in bidding or bidding pro-cess except time of submitting a Bid. The Successful Bidder, if any, will be the responsible Bid-der which in the Board's judg-ment will be most advantage-ous to the District and result In the best and most economical completion of the Project.
