Estimate: $1M to $1.2M The Mental Health Center of North Central Alabama (Owner) will receive proposals, under seal, from Design-Builders licensed in the State of Alabama and qualified to perform the design and construction of the project being proposed. Location- 1309 Elm Street, Athens, AL. The intent of the Contract is to provide for the management of Project from the design development phase through the construction of the Project, in every detail, including the furnishing by Design-Builder of all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, and supplies required to complete the work in strict accordance with the plans, specifications, and Contract terms developed for the Project. Evaluation by the Owner, for administrative and technical completeness, quality, value and professional elements will not be completed on the same day. The proposals will be considered for acceptance at a later date. Proposals must be valid for 60 days. Proposals should be addressed to Mr. William Giguere in sealed packages with the words Proposal for Athens Childrens Outpatient Clinic appearing on the outside of the envelope or package. All appropriate licensing information shall be provided on the face of the proposal package. All proposals must be accompanied by either a cashiers check drawn on an Alabama bank or a Bid Bond executed by a surety company, duly authorized and qualified to make such bonds in the State of Alabama, in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the proposed capital cost submitted. Any disclosure in advance of the terms of a proposal in response to this invitation shall render the proceedings void and require advertisement and award anew. The award shall be made to the qualified proposer deemed in the best interest of the Owner, unless it is judged that all proposals should be rejected. The qualifications of the proposer are established in the Contract Documents. Proposals for the Work shall remain firm for a period of sixty (60) calendar days from the date of the Proposal due date. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
