The Town of Newbury is hereby soliciting sealed bids for the Bridge Railing Replacement, Main Street Bridge over Parker River Bypass project. Each Bid must be accompanied by a bid security consisting of a BID BOND, CASH, CERTIFIED CHECK, or a TREASURER'S OR CASHIER'S CHECK issued by a responsible bank or trust company in the amount of 5% of the bid price. The work consists of the Bridge Railing Replacement to the Main Street Bridge over Parker Bypass in the Town of Newbury. The work to be done includes, but is not limited to, removal and replacement of the bridge railing on both sides of the structure. The proposed bridge rail shall consist of a reinforced concrete barrier, anchored to a pile cap at each end. The work also includes guardrail at all four corners. MassDOT prequalification of contractors with the class of work as, Bridge - Construction, for the project will be required. the project with an estimated value of $129,680.00 Completion- October 1, 2023.
