Site work for a civil project in Power, Montana. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Project includes the following Work: Install 500 linear feet of horizontal infiltration well including perforated piping and washed, disinfected sand and gravel; installing monitoring wells; dewatering; exploratory borings; install sump manhole and cleanout; develop and disinfect the well; pumping tests; and site restoration. The Bid Submittal must include the purchased Project Manual in its entirety. Bidders shall be responsible for any shipping fees if the Project Manual is not purchased in person at the Issuing Office. Contractors Subcontractors bidding or doing work on this project will be required to be registered with the Montana Department of Labor and Industry (DLI). Forms for registration are available from the Department of Labor and Industry, PO Box 8011, 1805 Prospect, Helena, MT 59604- 8011. Information on registration can be obtained by calling (406) 444-7734. Contractor and Subcontractor(s) shall pay, as a minimum, prevailing wages for each classification in accordance with the Federal Labor Standards Provisions (Davis-Bacon) or Montana Prevailing Wage Requirements, whichever is greater. The Contractor must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, color, religion, sex or nation origin. Each bid or proposal must be accompanied by a Certified Check, Cashiers Check, or Bid Bond payable to Power-Teton County Water & Sewer District, in the amount not less than ten Percent (10%) of the total amount of the bid. Successful Bidders shall furnish and approved Performance Bond and a Labor and Materials Payment Bond, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount. Insurance, as required, shall be provided by the successful Bidder(s) and a certificate(s) of the insurance shall be provided. This project is funded in part or in whole with grant/loan funding from RRGL, TSEP, RD, CDBG, WRDA, ARPA, and Local funds. Award of the project will be contingent upon receiving funding and award concurrence from Funding Agencies. Bids may only be withdrawn as provided in Section 16.02 of the Instruction to Bidders after the scheduled time for the public opening of bids. The right is reserved to reject any or all proposals received, to waive informalities, to postpone the award of the contract for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days, and to accept the lowest responsive and responsible bid that is in the best interest of the Owner. The Contractor is required to be an Equal Opportunity Employer. American Iron and Steel. Section 746 of Title VII of the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2017 (Division A - Agriculture, Rural Development, Food and Drug Administration, and Related Agencies Appropriations Act, 2017) and subsequent statutes mandating domestic preference applies an American Iron and Steel requirement to this project. All iron and steel products used in this project must be produced in the United States. The termiron and steel products means the following products made primarily of iron or steel: lined or unlined pipes and fittings, manhole covers and other municipal castings, hydrants, tanks, flanges, pipe clamps and restraints, valves, structural steel, reinforced precast concrete, and Construction Materials The following waivers apply to this Contract: De Minimus, Minor Components, Pig iron and direct reduced iron.
