Deadline for respondent questions February 2, 2023 5:00 p.m. Pursuant to Section G.S. 143-128.1(A) of the North Carolina General Statutes, In reference to the CDBG CORONAVIRUS (CDBG-CV) Grant awarded to Graham County, NC, project # 20-V-3514 Graham County Senior Center, will be soliciting Statement of Qualifications from licensed professional Design-Build teams interested in being considered to provide architectural (FF&E design)/engineering services (A/E) and construction services related to the design and construction for expanding capacity of an existing commercial kitchen at the Senior Center located at 185 West Fort Hill Road in Robbinsville, NC and to provide the goods and services described below which will include, but is not limited to: Site and building design for: Procure 12'x24' metal sided storage building delivered and installed Concrete Floor and slabs for approximate 22' x 10' walk in refrigerator/freezer combo. Mechanical/Electrical and Plumbing as needed for a walk-in refrigerator, freezer, fry pot and storage building. Procure and install commercial walk-in refrigerator and freezer approximately 21' x 7.5'. Procure and install commercial generator 80kw single phase 60 hertz. Construction administration and project close-out. All construction elements required for a "turnkey" project. Anticipated project budget is $308,000.00 The project is slated to begin early spring and complete in summer of 2023. Each respondent will be required to provide an outline of the strategy the design-builder plans to use for open contractor and subcontractor selection based upon the provisions of Article 8 of Chapter 143 of the NC General Statutes. To the greatest extent possible, training / employment opportunities and contracts for work are to be awarded to businesses located in, or owned in substantial part by persons residing in, Graham County.
