Coweta County is soliciting bids for 2023 Roadside Tree Pruning. The major items of work consist of the following. 1) Provide traffic control 2) Trimming/Pruning overhanging limbs. 3) Clean up and removal of all debris. Please see attached advertisement for all details related to this project. The Major Items of Work Consist of: 1. Providing all traffic control in accordance and compliance with the MUTCD and GDOT standards, details, and Special Provisions, including the latest edition of Special Provision 150. 2. Trimming/Pruning all overhanging limbs using a vertical cut back to the existing tree line within the designated area. (See descriptions and location map) 3. Clean-up and removal of all debris. Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids in the best interest of the County. Work is as specified in the Bid Document and is to be done in accordance with detail standards and specifications, where applicable. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond prepared on an accepted form, duly executed by the bidder, in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid. Owner reserves the right to waive any formality or informality or to reject any or all bids, to evaluate bids, and to accept any bid which in its opinion may be for the best interest of Owner. Owner has the right to add to and delete from the contract once it has been awarded. Award, if award is made, will be to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder. The successful bidder for this contract will be required to furnish a satisfactory performance bond and labor and material payment bond, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the bid. No bidder may withdraw his bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
