Pit run for use on parish roads.
ITEM 1 Pit run delivered anywhere north of the Ouachita
AREA 1 River to the Franklin-Caldwell line.
ITEM II Pit run and maintenance gravel delivered anywhere east
AREA II of the Ouachita River to the Tensas and Concordia Parish lines.
ITEM III Pit run delivered anywhere west of the Ouachita
AREA III River to the LaSalle Parish line and north of Little River.
ITEM IV Pit run and maintenance gravel delivered anywhere south
AREA IV of Little River. All gravel must meet State specifications. Pit run and can be mined anywhere inside or outside of Catahoula Parish boundaries. Trucks must be state certified and material will be spot checked to determine if it meets state specifications. It must have 30% minimum gravel in sand clay. BID PER CUBIC YARD ONLY AND ADD NO MILEAGE. Bid price to include any applicable taxes or fees. The Catahoula Parish Police Jury reserves the right that if the bidder accepted cannot deliver when called within 48 hours, pit run can be purchased through next low bidder. The Police Jury reserves the right to accept or reject any and or all bids, to waive informalities and to make award as it may elect. Bidders must include in their proposal a separate statement setting forth any and all preferences to which they claim to be entitled. If any preferences are listed, the name and location of their manufacturer must be stated. Vendors requesting preference per LA RS 39: 1604 must meet all requirements as stated in statute.
