Site work and new construction of a civil project in Aberdeen, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the construction of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.

The project generally consists of the construction of a new 1,000,000-gallon elevated water storage tank. The work will also include the connection of the tank to the distribution system, site improvements, installation of tank inlet line, outlet line, overflow line, miscellaneous piping, and other associated work as contained in the Contract Documents or as ordered by the Engineer. TIME FOR COMPLETION of this Contract is 530 calendar days. Unless otherwise provided in the Supplementary Conditions, Contractor shall obtain and pay for all construction permits and licenses. Owner shall assist Contractor, when necessary, in obtaining such permits and licenses. Accordingly, instead of requiring any such proof, OWNER and CONTRACTOR agree that as liquidated damages for delay (but not as a penalty) CONTRACTOR shall pay OWNER $500.00 for each day that expires after the time specified in paragraph D 3.1 for Substantial Completion until the Work is substantially complete. The Authority reserves the right to reject any, or all Bids if in its opinion it is in the best interest to do so and to award the Contract for any and/or all items.
