The Ocean View School District of Orange County (OVSD) is seeking Requests for Proposals (RFP) from qualified full service (consultants) to perform Arboricultural Consulting Support Services and Related Tree Care for the District. The District intends to select from the qualified respondents to this RFP. The selected consultant is based upon best value and one that is deemed most responsive, qualified, and experienced in working with California public school districts in providing the requested arborist and full service tree care consulting services. The Ocean View School District of Orange County {DISTRICT) is requesting Requests for Proposals (RFPs) from qualified licensed firms (Consultants), to perform arboricultural consulting support services and related full service tree care for the District through a continuing services agreement on an "as needed" basis for an overall period of five (5) years with the work being issued annually in one (1) year increments which on renewal for a period not to exceed five (5) years. The work is expected to commence immediately following execution of the service contract. The purpose of this RFP is to select a consultant to provide independent and objective knowledge, analytical skills and professional judgment to arboricultural-related facts and circumstances in order to provide observations, conclusions, reports, and appropriate recommendations in the field of arboricultural analysis. The services performed by the selected consultant falls within three distinct categories which are all inclusive of this contract. Responses to questions and requests for clarifications will be emailed to all interested Respondents on or around Friday, November 18, 2022. An anonymous summary of all Q&A will be emailed. The DISTRICT reserves the right to reject any or all submittals, to waive any irregularity, and to take all submittals under advisement for a period of sixty (60) days.
