From qualified firms (consultants) to perform Consulting NFPA 72 Fire Alarm Systems Monitoring, Inspection, Testing, Maintenance and On-Call Services. The District intends to select from the qualified respondents to this RFP, one firm that is deemed most responsive, qualified, and experienced in working with California public school districts in providing the requested fire alarm systems monitoring, inspection and testing services. The District intends to select one qualified professional consulting services firm Jody Johancsik, Director, through a continuing services agreement for an overall period of five (5) years with the work being issued annually in one (1) year increments which on renewal fora period not to exceed five (5) years. The work is expected to commence immediately following execution of the service contract. The purpose of this RFP is to select one consultant to provide independent and objective knowledge, analytical skills and professional. Firms will be selected based on their ability to meet or exceed the Districts requirements to provide the highest quality services available. Copies of this Request for Proposal (RFP) may be found on the Districts electronically. Any contract entered into pursuant to this notice will incorporate the provisions of the California Labor Code. Compliance with the prevailing wage rates and apprenticeship employment standards established by the State Director of Industrial Relations will be required. Submittals must be prepared in conformance with the Format and Content of Request for Proposal Submittals and submitted in a sealed envelope plainly marked on the outside, RFP FOR 2022-002 FIRE ALARM SYSTEMS MONITORING, INSPECTION, AND TESTING SERVICES. A contract may only be awarded to a consultant who has met all of the qualifications and requirements of the RFP. The DISTRICT reserves the right to reject any or all submittals, to waive any irregularity, and to take all submittals under advisement for a period of sixty (60) days. Any protest to an intended award of this contract shall be made in writing addressed to the District Assistant Superintendent prior to the award. Any protest may be considered and acted on by the Board of Trustees at the time noticed for award of the contract.
