Renovation of an educational facility in Plattsburgh, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 17,331-square-foot, three-story above grade educational facility.
For purposes of this solicitation, the University hereby establishes an overall goal of 4.28%for MWBE participation, 1.95% for Minority-Owned Business Enterprises ("MBE") participation and 2.33%for Women-Owned Business Enterprises ("WBE") participation (based on the current availability of qualified MBEs and WBEs). All work on this Contract is to be completed within/by: Phase I (Halal Shack and Market/Cafe) - 08/09/2024 Phase II (Sundowner) - 01/03/2025 Security will be required for each bid in an amount not less than five (5) percent of the Total Bid. A Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Bond, both of which bonds shall be on the form prescribed by the University and in an amount not less than 100 percent of the total amount of the Contract awarded to the Contractor by the University said bonds must be issued by a surety company approved by the University and authorized to do business in the State of New York as a surety. For purposes of this solicitation, the University hereby establishes an overall goal of 4.28% for MWBE participation, 1.95% for Minority-Owned Business Enterprises ("MBE") participation and 2.33% for Women-Owned Business Enterprises ("WBE") participation (based on the current availability of qualified MBEs and WBEs). The State University of New York reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
