The City of Cedar Park requests Proposals/Quotations for 3rd party inspection/ observation services for the construction of the Brushy Creek North Fork Trail Project The Brushy Creek North Fork Trail Project generally includes approximately three (3) miles of ten (10) feet wide field engineered concrete trail and all necessary appurtenances including, but not limited to fencing, culverts, end treatments, handrails, grading, embankment, and retaining walls. The general path of the trail will start at Parmer Ln (just south of Whitestone Blvd) and follow the north fork of Brushy Creek down to Brushy Creek Rd where it will connect to the existing Brushy Creek Regional Trail. Basic plans will be provided, but the project will be field engineered to determine the final alignment of the trail within the provided easements. The intent of the field engineering is to avoid trees when feasible and follow the topography of the area while causing as little impact to the natural landscape and floodplain as possible and providing a structurally sound shared use path to the public. There will be limited access points and constrained construction boundaries along large portions of the trail project. The inspector will be expected to help ensure the contractor abides by the project constraints. The City also reserves the right to reject any and all proposals/quotations, or accept any proposal/quotation deemed most advantageous, or to waive any irregularities or informalities in the proposal/quotation received, and to revise the process schedule as circumstances require. The Method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this Time.
