Simi Valley Unified School District ("District") a California school district is seeking qualifications and proposals from qualified firms to provide professional services necessary to assure that the District's Measure X Bond Program ("Program"), Specific Measure X Bond Projects, and Projects throughout the District comply with the requirements of the California Environmental Quality Act ("CEQA"). Scope of Services: Assist with determining the level of documentation (e.g. Initial Study) required based on the scope noted above Preparation of all CEQA documentation according to all applicable State and Local requirements Coordination and supervision of any sub-consultant specialists as required Prepare the Board Resolution Assist the District with the recording of the required documents Coordination and collaboration with District staff, various consultants and any state / local agencies as required Attendance at various District and public meetings as needed Consultant shall provide proposals, five (5) hard copies and one (1) in electronic format in .pdf format, on a USB thumb drive. The District reserves the right to waive any informalities or irregularities in proposals responding to this RFQ. The District reserves the right to reject any and all proposals. The District retains the sole discretion to determine whether a respondent is responsive and qualified. All requests for clarifications or inquiries shall be in writing and e-mailed to lori.rubenstein@simivalleyusd.org, and cc'd Deborah.nelson@simivalleyusd.org no later than November 29, 2022. The District may, at its discretion, interview some or all of the respondents. This RFQ is not a formal request for bids, nor an offer by the District to contract with any party responding to this RFQ. The District reserves the right to reject any and all responses. The District also reserves the right to amend this RFQ by Addenda. All proposals submitted to the District in response to this RFQ shall remain the property of the District. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
