The County of Moore (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project: Pipe Procurement for Town of Vass Phase 2 Sewer Extension Project The Project includes the following Work: Procurement of 8" SDR 26 PVC Sewer Pipe for the project. Contract 3 includes provision of 12,795 LF of 8" SDR 26 Gravity Sewer Pipe, to be used for Contract 3 of the Town of Vass Phase 2 Sewer Extension Project. Bids are requested for the following Project: Pipe Procurement for Town of Vass Phase 2 Sewer Extension Project For all further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders that are included in the Bidding Documents. All project related questions are to be submitted in writing to tvuncannon@moorecountync.gov, with the subject header of all emails. Bidder inquiries will be received until 10 a.m. on March 27, 2023. The Project, of which the Goods and Special Services are a part, is generally described as follows: New wastewater collection lines to serve the Town of Vass, including approximately 36,400 LF of 8" gravity sewer lines, 5,800 LF of force main, two (2) lift stations and related appurtenances. The Work was bid as 4 separate Contracts: Contract 1 includes 13,300 LF of 8" gravity sewer lines and 2,100 LF of force main. Contract 2 includes 7,300 LF of 8" gravity sewer lines and 3,700 LF of force main. Contract 3 includes 12,795 LF of 8" gravity sewer lines. Contract 4 includes two (2) lift stations and appurtenances.
