Site work and paving for a bridge / tunnel in Lyndon, Kansas. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
Kansas Turnpike Authority (KTA) is requesting sealed proposals for furnishing all labor and performing all work in accordance with the Plans and Specifications and other Contract Documents, known as KTA Contract No. 7801, Lyon County, Kansas. Re-deck and widen Bridge 125.22 SB, hydro demolition and latex modified concrete overlay Bridge 125.22 NB. Bids will only be accepted by Contractors that are pre-qualified by the Kansas Department of Transportation. Proposals must be accompanied by a bid bond in the amount of 5 percent of bid and made payable to the Kansas Turnpike Authority as guarantee that the bidder will enter into a contract and give a performance bond as required if awarded the contract. The award of each contract shall be in accordance with the provisions of the Standard Specifications of the Kansas Department of Transportation, edition of 2015, and will be based upon the summation of the products of the unit prices and the approximate quantities. The Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularity therein, to determine which is the lowest responsible bid most suitable to the Authority.
