The construction and modifications consist of the following: a. Clearing and grubbing, civil/site work, etc. b. Conducting locate of existing subsurface utilities within the work areas. c. Juice tank coating and installation of handrails. d. Installation of level sensor and transmitter to measure juice tank water level. e. Construction of piping and accessories for a quick disconnect. f. Installation of cure-in-place pipe (CIPP) inside existing pipe from juice tank to diaphragm pumps. g. Piping modifications for inlet and outlet headers of diaphragm pumps. h. Replacing two (2) existing air operated diaphragm pumps in the digester building. i. Installation of magnetic flow meter on juice waste pumps discharge pipe. j. Construction of new force main to discharge juice waste to primary effluent diversion structure (PEDS). k. Electrical work and controls. l. Connecting control panels of new diaphragm pumps and instruments to plant SCADA; modify the connection of existing Primary Sludge Pumps (PSPs) to plant SCADA. 2.
