As of April 25, 2024, an architect has been selected and this project is in the design phase with 50% design being completed. Design firm information has not been determined. It is anticipated construction will start in summer 2025. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: The Ohio State University is seeking qualifications from firms to upgrade HVAC systems at Graves Hall and Sullivant Hall buildings at the main campus. The university reserves the right to change building or work locations. The selected firm will provide initial pre-engineering services for existing HVAC systems at 2-3 buildings, and prioritize for repair with probable cost information. Submit all questions regarding this RFQ in writing to Al Stazzone at stazzone.1@osu.edu with the project number included in the subject line (no phone calls please). The project and construction budget as listed in this RFQ is estimated. This project scope will include, but is not limited to improving HVAC systems, Air Handling Systems, and Building Automation Controls. The Architect/Engineer ("A/E") will prepare the POR as an Additional Service. The proposed project delivery method for this project is General Contracting. The university reserves the right to add, modify or delete scope or buildings as noted in the RFQ. The university will be part of the selection process for selection of the Hazardous Material Consultant. Hazardous Material Consultant will be an Additional Service to the AE Agreement. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
