Elevator Modernization Work must be completed no later than December 31, 2023 There are currently thirteen (13) hydraulic passenger elevators of various manufacturers located at nine (09) service sites within the District that will require the services described herein. The scope of this agreement shall require Bidder to inspect all of the District's elevators that were installed prior to 2006 to establish what equipment and/or components are necessary for each District elevator to meet the requirements of F.S. 399 and to perform turn-key elevator modernization on all elevators determined to require these operational updates that provide for the adherence of said equipment to comply with part 3.10.12 of ASME A17.3-2015, Safety Code for Existing Elevators and Escalators by December 31, 2023 to ensure their safety and functionality. All work shall be performed in conformance to manufacturer specifications and all regulatory requirements. Bidder shall assume sole responsibility to ensure compliance with State of Florida certification, and applicable ASME and manufacturers' standards of safety, reliability, and satisfactory operating condition.
