DESCRIPTION OF WORK: Goals for Minority Participation for Each Trade 3.3% Custer County Goals for Female Participation for Each Trade 6.9% Perform identified repairs to the railroad bridge timber decking and fall protection at the Fort Keogh Livestock and Range Research Laboratory site. The work required for this project consists of the demolition of the existing fall protection system and the installation of a new system. The new system shall consist of 3/8" steel cable, 3x3x3/16 steel angles, connection plates and bolts and the replacement of damaged support beams with new Douglas Fir beams, 3x12. The work also requires the furnishing and installation of four warning signs to be placed on the ends of the bridge (two each end). The signage shall state the following "DANGER -No Pedestrian or Foot Traffic Allowed on the Bridge". PROJECT LOCATION: USDA, ARS, Fort Keogh Livestock and Range Research Laboratory, Miles City, Montana CONTRACT PERFORMANCE PERIOD: The period of performance of this contract is 90 calendar days from Notice to Proceed. Price Range is between $100,000 and $250,000. This solicitation is a total small business set aside. Offerors must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM). For those who fail to meet these requirements will not be considered for award. Availability of Funds Funds are not presently available for this contract.
