It is the intent of Edmonton Public Schools (Division) to send a Request for Quotes (RFQ) to WESCO Distribution Canada LP, City Electric Supply and Graybar Canada Limited for the following Goods: Eaton Cutler Hammer - to replace - motor control centre buckets currently installed. The Goods are valued at approximately $200,000 for 2022/23. There will also be additional Goods purchased as the Division has the funds to replace the obsolete buckets. Some of the Division's schools contain Canadian Controller brand Motor Control Center that have reached and exceeded their life cycle replacement age, they contain obsolete MCC buckets, the intent is to replace, refurbish, or retrofit each bucket that contains the circuit breaker and/or fuse disconnect including all the guts and associated control (approximately 10 to 30 buckets for each MCC panel.) Due to usage and compatibility, the only specific brand is Eaton Cutler Hammer. We will be inviting approved vendors or distributors to submit pricing for specific projects this year, then setting up a Contract to purchase additional units as the funds become available. The units will be installed by internal employees. If no inquiries or concerns are received (to darlene.strong@epsb.ca) on or before November 18, 2022, 2:00:00PM local time, Edmonton Public Schools will send an RFQ to the approved vendors/distributors and enter into contract(s) with lowest bid/best delivery timeframe vendor/distributor(s).
