The City of Portland, Texas ("City") hereby issues this Request for Bid ("RFB"). The City is seeking bids from firms interested and qualified to replace the existing fences around two ground water storage tanks and two elevated water storage tanks. The City intends to enter into a Service Agreement (also referred to herein as a "Contract") for these services. Any Bidder requiring further clarification of the RFB procedures should submit request for clarification in writing in the form of questions and inquiries to the Purchasing Officer, John Elizondo, at John.Elizondo@portlandtx.gov before 3:00 P.M. (CT) local time November 29, 2022. The Bidder should request confirmation via email that the request for clarification was received and follow up with a phone call, if necessary. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any non-material irregularities or informalities in any RFB, and to accept or reject any item or combination of items. Scope: Dismantle and remove 400 linear feet of existing chain-link fencing, associated posts and gate then install 400 linear feet of Alumi-Guard fencing and gates per the specifications referenced below in Subsection B. Location 2. Name: Wildcat Ground Storage Tank. Address: 1004 Wildcat Drive, Portland, Texas 78374. Scope: Dismantle and remove 457 linear feet of existing chain-link fencing, associated posts and gate then install 457 linear feet of Alumi-Guard fencing and gate per the specifications referenced below in Subsection B. Location 3. Name: Sport Complex Ground Storage tank. Address: 725 CR 2004, Portland, Texas 78374. Scope: Dismantle and remove 506 linear feet of existing chain-link fencing, associated posts and gate.
