This Request for Proposal (RFP) is seeking proposals to complete all work and supply all materials to complete a kitchen renovation at the East Ferris Community Centre and Arena. It is intended that the project will include, but not necessarily be limited to, the following: 1. New commercial grade equipment: a. Range with a flat top griddle - In total we're seeking 6 to 8 burners which could be all on the range or partially on the range with a secondary cooking surface adjacent to the range. b. The existing range hood was replaced more recently and should be able to remain without modifications. 2. Modification of the wall (non-load bearing) separating the kitchen from the hall space to allow for in and out doors and a modified serving area; 3. New flooring and wall finishings; 4. New flooring and wall painting in the room adjacent to the kitchen forming part of the banquet area; 5. New window coverings in the two rooms adjacent to the kitchen making up the banquet area; 6. All new cabinetry, countertops, and finishings; 7. All new appliances including 3 fridges and a dishwasher; 8. Replacement (and relocation, if required) of existing sinks while maintaining the existing number of sinks, including hand washing stations; 9. Addition of pantry storage area that can be dedicated to user groups as required; 9. All necessary plumbing and electrical work required to maximize the functionality of the space based on the chosen design; 10. All necessary structural modifications including framing, drywall and painting (multiple coats as required); 11. Any lighting changes identified in the project design; and 12.
