The successful Bidder, or Bidders, will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and Payment Bond each in the amount of the contract written by a responsible surety company authorized to do business in the State of Texas and satisfactory to the Owner. The project to be constructed will be financed with assistance from the Texas Department of Agriculture (TDA) under U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program and is subject to all applicable Federal and State laws and regulations. Attention is called to the fact that not less than, the federally determined prevailing (Davis-Bacon and Related Acts) wage rate, as issued by the Texas Department of Agriculture Office of Rural Affairs and contained in the contract documents, must be paid on this project. In cooperation with Barksdale Water Supply Corporation (WSC), install two (2) approximately eighty-kilowatt (80kW) diesel generators, SCADA system equipment, approximately seven hundred fifty linear feet (750 ft.) of six-inch (6 in.) water main line, related meter replacement and service reconnections, fire hydrants, gate valves, fencing, pavement repairs to be completed utilizing Edwards County labor forces, and all associated appurtenances.
