Renovation of an educational facility in Apex, North Carolina. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Responses to Request for Qualifications from professional firms will be received for the WCPSS Middle Creek HS HVAC Renovation Project It is important that you read the "Request for Qualifications" for RFQ-22-D-LC - Middle Creek HS HVAC renovation and complete the "Statement of Qualifications" per those instructions. Replacement of air handling units, lights, intercom, walk in cooler/freezer equipment and chillers/pumps, boiler refurbishment, and miscellaneous painting and sealant. Design work will also include additional items of concern during initial site visit. Firm will provide turnkey design services including but not limited to HVAC, lighting, fire alarm, intercom, control system replacement and other systems as determined in the scope walk-through, bidding, construction administration including scheduling, pre bid, preconstruction meetings, regular site construction meetings during the project, and project closeout Qualifications submitted December 2, 2022, with design fee negotiations immediately following the selection with an anticipated design notice to proceed of January 12, 2023. The qualifications presented will be used for ranking and selection. The selected design firm must carry a minimum of $1,000,000 of professional liability insurance. The Method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this Time.
