Quincy-Columbia Basin Irrigation District Request for Quotations SWR No. MOTORS 11-29-22 2023 Motor Refurbishing Quotes The Quincy Columbia Basin Irrigation District is soliciting quotes for the refurbishing of motors, numbering 5 to 7 in quantity, within the Quincy-Columbia Basin Irrigation District. The motors worked on via these documents may vary in size from 200 hp. to 2000 hp. These motors may be either Induction or Synchronous Type, with the condition of each motor in varied states. The District has had each motor tested concurrent with water shut off the week of Monday, October 24th and a list of motors to be quoted via these documents will be produced based on the testing results. **The requirement of the vendor awarded the work to test the quoted motors in their shop as part of the initial shop testing and refurbishment section of these documents shall still be performed and be included in the quoted amount. the qualifying quotes will be presented to the Districts Board of Directors on December 6, 2022 for approval to award the work to the lowest qualifying bidder The contractor awarded the work will be allowed to start taking possession of the motors beginning on December 7th, 2022. Within ten (10) days after notice to proceed, the contractor shall remove all pump motors from each pumping plant and transport to their repair facility. Contractor shall submit to the District no later than December 28, 2022 an initial inspection report, work item list, and a change order quote (If needed) for each motor under this contract. Contractor shall complete all work no later than March 15, 2023 unless the period for completion is modified by mutual agreement of the parties.
