Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

For the general construction of the State Road Pedestrian Improvements Munson Street and Grove Street project Work includes: Miscellaneous sidewalk improvements and sidewalk ADA access ramp replacement at the intersection of State Road at Grove Street and Munson Street as indicated below and described in the Contract Documents: -Installation of approximately 100 linear feet of 15" diameter reinforced concrete pipe, precast concrete manhole and 2 drainage inlets. -Removal of approximately 250 LF of Concrete Curb and Curb & Gutter and installation of approximately 375 LF of Concrete Curb & Gutter -Removal of approximately 500 SF of Concrete Sidewalk and installation of approximately 600 SF of Concrete Sidewalk -Selective demolition and removal of approximately 1400 SF Pavement -Placement of approximately 150 tons of Graded Aggregate Base Course -Placement of approximately 25 tons of Type B Bituminous Concrete Patch -Placement of approximately 10 tons of Type C Bituminous Concrete Patch -Milling & overlay of approximately 1000 SY of paving within the work area -Furnishing & installing Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacons -Removal of existing traffic signs & installing new existing traffic signs, lane markings, crosswalk markings, etc. -Maintenance of Traffic, miscellaneous pavement and turf surface restoration and other miscellaneous site work. The right is reserved, as the interest of the City of Rehoboth Beach may appear, to reject any and all Bids, to waive any informality or irregularity in Bids received, and to accept or reject any Items of any Bid as is most advantageous to the City of Rehoboth Beach. Each bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond or Certified Check payable to the City of Rehoboth Beach in the amount of five (5%) percent of the total amount of the bid. The City of Rehoboth Beach hereby notifies all that it will affirmatively ensure that in all Contracts it enters into, Minority Business Enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit BIDS, and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, creed, color, sex, or national origin in consideration of an Award.
