PART #1 CITY OF JANESVILLE ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS PUBLIC WORKS BID SCHEDULE "F" - 2022 The City of Janesville, Wisconsin hereby gives notice that it will receive electronic bids for the following listed Public Work: C2023-2 Water & Sewer System Improvements I - For furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, and performing all work necessary for the construction of the following approximate quantities: 8,300 LF of 4"-12" replacement water main; 375 LF of 4" replacement sanitary force main; 315 LF of 8" replacement sanitary sewer; replacement of 10 lead water services; replacement or rehabilitation of 80 sanitary structures, water valve structures, storm structures, and storm inlets; and associated street and non-paved surface restoration. No bidder may withdraw their bid within 45 days after the actual date of the bid opening. The Council reserves the right to reject any and all bids. No bid will be considered unless accompanied by a certified check equal to 10 percent of the bid or a bid bond in equal amount, payable to the City as guaranty that if the bid is accepted, the bidder will execute and file the proper contract and performance bond within ten days from the date the lowest responsible bidder's bid is accepted. In case the bidder fails to execute such contract and performance bond within the time set by the City, the check or bid bond shall be forfeited to the City as liquidated damages.
