OPWDD's Contract Management Unit on behalf of Sunmount DDSOO is soliciting sealed bids from responsible and qualified contractors to perform HVAC Services for community sites located in Hamilton County. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to: The Contractor shall provide Heating and Air Conditioning Inspections, Start Up, and/or Maintenance and Repair Service to each of the community sites operated by Sunmount DDSOO in Hamilton County. All miscellaneous materials and supplies (lubricants, belts, tools, test instruments, meters, filters, etc.) necessary to provide preventative maintenance (PM) shall be supplied by the Contractor and shall be included in the cost of the service program. The Contractor shall provide emergency service within four (4) hours after receipt of a request for such service by telephone or otherwise from OPWDD. Contractor's personnel performing contract work in OPWDD facilities shall include at least one journeyman level supervisory technician and additional personnel as necessary to perform the required work. Prevailing Wage will apply to all maintenance repairs, replacements, and modifications provided under this contract. The Prevailing Rate Case number for this contract is PRC #2022006645. A copy of Contractors certified payroll is required to be submitted with invoices prior to payment for services rendered. Inspections and start-up service are not covered by Article 8 of the New York State Labor Law. References, experience, financial resources, and applicable insurances are required. No Subcontracting of services is allowed with this IFB without written permission of OPWDD. All bidders must submit at least three (3) work references that will verify that the bidder or its principals have at least three (3) years of relevant experience to complete the work as listed in Qualifications and Scope of Work. OPWDD will select the responsible and responsive Bidder that will provide the lowest Total Annual Estimated Combined Cost. Only proposals judged to be responsive to the submission requirements set forth in this IFB will be evaluated. Any alteration of the cost proposal form may result in disqualification of the bid. OPWDD reserves the right to reject any and all offers.
