The purpose of this IFB is to contract with responsive and responsible vendors interested in submitting bids to perform HVAC Services for The New York State Office for People with Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD) sites in Hamilton County, NY. The Contractor shall provide Heating and Air Conditioning Inspections, Start Up, and/or Maintenance and Repair Service to each of the community sites operated by Sunmount DDSOO (OPWDD). All repair work is to be performed during normal working hours unless specifically authorized in writing by the OPWDD.The Contractor shall provide call back service within four (4) hours after receipt of a request for such service by telephone or otherwise from OPWDD. Call back service shall be performed as part of this contract without additional charge. The Contractor shall provide emergency service within four (4) hours after receipt of a request for such service by telephone or otherwise from OPWDD. Qualifications: Contractor's personnel performing contract work in OPWDD facilities shall include at least one journeyman level supervisory technician and additional personnel as necessary to perform the required work. It is the Bidders obligation to visit any and all sites they wish to bid on. It is the responsibility of the bidder to know the site(s) requirements based upon the service being requested. Prices are to remain constant for the initial year of the contract. No Subcontracting of services is allowed without written permission of OPWDD. The Prevailing Wage number for this contract is PRC#2022006645. Prevailing Wage will apply to all maintenance repairs, replacements, and modifications provided under this contract. Payments will be made based on actual services rendered. All bidders must submit at least three (3) work references that will verify that the bidder or its principals have at least three (3) years of relevant experience to complete the work as listed in Qualifications and Scope of Work. OPWDD will select the responsible and responsive Bidder that will provide the lowest Total Annual Estimated Combined Cost. All sites included in Hamilton County are to be serviced by the Bidder who is awarded the contract. Only proposals judged to be responsive to the submission requirements set forth in this IFB will be evaluated. Any alteration of the cost proposal form may result in disqualification of the bid. OPWDD reserves the right to reject any and all offers.
