The Rocky Mount Housing Authority (RMHA) is requesting proposals for "Repair or Replace Concrete Sidewalks and Walkways Services". This will be a one-year contract with a one (1)-year extension option, if agreeable by both the contracted company and RMHA. "Scope of Work Package" is available by contacting Teresa Rhodes at (252) 407-1941. Attention is hereby called to the provisions of Equal Employment Opportunity. Firms are required to comply with the guidelines for the recruitment of Minority Business Enterprise (MBE), Women-Owned Business Enterprise (WBE), Section 3 Business (with encouragement to employ Housing Authority residents) or Disadvantaged-Owned Business Enterprise (DBE). PLEASE NOTE: RMHA requires $1,000,000.00 Comprehensive General Liability Insurance, $1,000,000.00 Business Auto Liability with Rocky Mount Housing Authority as additional insured; and, if applicable, according to North Carolina State Regulations-Workers Compensation; $1,000,000.00 Employer's Liability. RMHA reserves the right to award the contract on whatever single or combined basis as in the best interest to the Authority, to accept or reject any or all proposals, and to waive technicalities and informalities. No proposal may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for the receipt of proposals for a period of thirty (30) days.
