Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a bridge / tunnel in Nanaimo, British Columbia. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; and for the construction of a bridge / tunnel.
The scope of work shall include but is not limited to the following: Removal and salvaging of an existing Acrow portable bridges for reuse Site NICC-4036: Replace existing 12.2m Acrow bridge with 15.2m L165 ASP bridge at NICC-4036 on lockblocks. Bridge site is located at 21.5km Nusatsum Mainline FSR, existing bridge load rating L45 or 41 tonnes G.V.W. Site NICC-4037: Replace existing 12.2m Acrow bridge with 13.2m L150 slab girders at NICC-4037 on existing lockblocks. 23.3km Nusatsum Mainline FSR, ex. load rating L45 Site NICC-4039: Replace existing 21.3m Acrow bridge with 27.4m L100 composite bridge at NICC4039 on pad and posts. 24.9m Nusatsum Mainline FSR, ex. load rating L45 Site NICC-4040: Replace existing 15.4m Acrow bridge with 24.4m L100 composite bridge at NICC4040 on pad and posts. 27.8 km Nusatsum Mainline FSR, ex. load rating L45 See the contract document for full details of the above and other responsibilities of the contractor.
