Westcor Construction Ltd ("Westcor") has been awarded the Construction Management contract for the Silvera for Seniors - Silvera Livingston Building A, Phase 1 ("Silvera - Livingston") project. Westcor is issuing this Subtrade Pre-Qualification to generate a shortlist of prequalified subcontractors who will participate in a closed tender process upon finalization of the relevant tender documents. Only those who have been prequalified will be able to submit pricing during the tender process. The project is located in north Calgary, on 144 Ave NE. The project will be the first building at the new Silvera Livingston Campus on the property. The building is anticipated to be a four-storey wood framed apartment building with 47 affordable independent units for seniors as part of the CMHC Rapid Housing Initiative (RHI) and the National Housing Strategy/CMHC. Estimated total square footage is +/- 38,000 sq ft. The foundations will be piles and grade beams with a slab on grade. TIMELINE: Prequalification for the following sub trades has closed at the Construction Manager; Deep Services; Concrete Forming (Form/Pump/Place); Concrete Finishing (SOG); Rebar; Supply & Install; Wood Framing; Prefabricated Wood Walls/Floors; Mechanical; Electrical. Submissions remain under review. *The project value listed reflects the total project estimate.
