Renovation of a pre-engineered storage facility in Salt Lake City, Utah. Completed plans call for the renovation of a pre-engineered storage facility.
The purpose of this IFB is to enter into a contract with the lowest responsive and responsible bidder to provide: Removal of old racking, Installation of new Racking, Wire Decking for all Pallet locations & Shelving. This contract will result in one contract award to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. Removal of old racking and installation of new rack and shelving units in the UDOT Central Warehouse in Taylorsville . Main large racking will consist of 14 rows. (7 rows that are 2 rows back to back). 5 rows will be 80' long, one row will be 72' and one will be 64' in length. Each aisle will be 10' apart. They will be 12' tall with 8' wide spaces. The 8' spaces will be split into 3 48" tall shelves. These will need to be identified with signs. 12"x12". Letters A-L for example There will be shelving along the East fence that is 48' in length. These will need to be 8' tall and 2' deep. These will be split into shelves that are 2' tall and 4' wide.(C) On the North wall (next to the north warehouse entry door) there will be caged shelving that is 8' tall and 16'' wide. Split into shelves that are 24" tall and 4' wide. 24" deep. (A) Etc . Heavy green steel shelving to be moved next to the Flammable Storage area just South of the warehouse Question Submission Close Date 11/21/2022 1:00 PM MST
