Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; for the construction of a one-story above grade playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for outdoor lighting for a sidewalk / parking lot.

The City desires to develop existing City owned properties into a Sports Complex with the potential to have on-street parking, four (4) three hundred foot (300') Lighted baseball/softball fields with dugouts, two (2) two hundred twenty five foot (225') lighted baseball fields with dugouts, two (2) lighted multi-purpose fields, a one-story concession/restroom building, a separate one-story restroom building, a pavilion/playground area, woodland boardwalk/walking path/trail, parking lots, a festival/event street with perimeter parking, area lighting, and additional site furnishings and amenities as may be desired. See attached conceptual rendering for the general design concept, which was the basis for the proposed scope of work. The scope of work herein for this project is based on the attached rendering and is subject to change. As of July 20, 2023, the design firm has been awarded. A construction document completion timeline has not been released. A tentative bid schedule for contractors has not been disclosed.
