Site work for a residential development in Johnson City, New York. Working plans call for site work for a residential development.
As of January 30, 2023, this project will be rebidding in the future. No timetable for rebidding at this time. Base Bid: The scope of work for this project includes replacement of the house's deteriorated basement/ foundation walls and footing. The newly constructed walls will be 10" cast-in-place reinforced concrete foundation with footings. The new and existing foundation walls will have waterproofing and drainage tile installed where occupied space occurs below exterior grade. Areas of the basement slab adjacent to the new concrete walls will be removed, as needed; to facilitate the construction of the new foundation walls and footings. A new 4" concrete slab-on-grade with welded wire reinforcing (WWR) will be installed in those locations. Add Alternate 01 Garage Removal: The existing garage foundation walls, floor(s), exterior walls, doors, windows, cladding, and roof system will be removed in its entirety. GC to furnish and install "Tyvek House Wrap" to control air and water intrusion along the exposed exterior wall. Add Alternate 02 Retain Garage and Reconstruct foundation and slab: The existing garage is to remain in place, and portions of the supporting foundation are to be replaced, along with a new floor slab. The scope of the work for this includes replacement of deteriorated foundation walls and footings. The newly constructed walls will be 10" cast-in-place reinforced concrete foundation with footings. The existing raised wood subfloor system and existing concrete slab will be removed in its entirety and replaced with a 12" compacted subbase and 5" slab-on-grade with welded wire reinforcing (WWR). General Contractors are to register for the pre-bid conference with the Broome County Land Bank Corporation. Bid security in the amount of five percent (05%) of the Bid will be required of all bidders. The successful bidder will be required to furnish Performance and Payment Bonds in an amount equal to 100 percent of the Contract Price. Refer to the bid package for various requirements including: insurance, Section 3, M/WBE and EEO requirements, etc. The Broome County Land Bank reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to award contracts in the best interests of the Broome County Land Bank. The Broome County Land Bank is an Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity Employer.
