Renovation of an educational facility in Houghton, Michigan. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The Project consists of a single contract for providing and installing furniture in the new H-STEM facility per the bid documents. See the drawings and other contract documents for more information on the scope of work. No pre-Bid Walk Thru. Those who plan to submit a bid, please contact jaguter@mtu.edu and we will forward to you the Excel file of the Furniture Workbook for you to fill out, and provide Autocad versions of the furniture plans for your use. The Work to be performed under this Contract shall begin with the Notice to Proceed and shall be substantially completed on or before February, 2024. The current project schedule is for the construction work to be substantially complete by December 15, 2023, which would allow the furniture install to begin on Monday December 19, 2023. Install of the furniture is currently projected to occur from December 18, 2023 through January 2024. Pre-Qualification: Yes Bid Bond: 5% Performance Bond: 100% Payment Bond; 100% Completion Date: The Work to be performed under this Contract shall begin with the Notice to Proceed and shall be substantially completed on or before February, 2024. The current project schedule is for the construction work to be substantially complete by December 15, 2023, which would allow the furniture install to begin on Monday December 19, 2023.
