As of November 21st, 2022 - this project has been postponed. Concerning 3 different school sites, this project will involve door & door hardware replacements for all exterior doors as well as plumbing renovations for the majority of campuses. One site does not require plumbing improvements; at the two sites where plumbing improvements are concerned, minor finish work is required. This work will be funded through the federal program known as Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief Fund and will be the 3rd ESSER program for the school district. A. Bid security shall be submitted with each bid in the amount of 5 percent of the bid amount. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of 90 days after opening of bids. Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities. B. The owner reserves the right to postpone action and final decision for a period of up to ninety (90) days. Successful bidder shall begin the Work on receipt of the Notice to Proceed and shall complete the Work by Substantial Completion date December 21, 2023. Work is subject to liquidated damages. Bidders must be properly licensed under the laws governing their respective trades and be able to obtain insurance and bonds required for the Work. A Performance Bond, separate Labor and Material Payment Bond, and Insurance in a form acceptable to Owner will be required of the successful Bidder.
