Site work and renovation of a mixed-use development in Ketchikan, Alaska. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a educational facility; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
FY 2025 Gym Floor Replacement: Staff has made several repairs to the gym floor due to air pockets developing in areas believed to be caused by water intrusion; however, the exact cause is unknown. Exploratory work will be done Spring 2022 to ty to locate the cause and move forward with a solution. If the drainage work behind the building does not work, Staff will need to look into replacing the floor. ($500,000) This project is in included in the Ketchikan Gateway Borough FY 2023-2027 ClP. As of November 17, 2022, further details regarding design and construction have not been identified. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
