The City of Tacoma (City) / Tacoma Public Utilities (TPU) is soliciting bids to establish one or more contracts with qualified vendors to fulfill the City's needs for the work platforms shown in the specification drawings. Contract(s) will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder(s) based on price, product quality and availability. Pre-Proposal Meeting: A pre-proposal meeting will not be held. Project Scope: Supply JIB Crane Work Platforms per this specification. Estimate: $75,000-$100,000. The City of Tacoma, in accordance with Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act (Section 504) and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), commits to nondiscrimination on the basis of disability, in all of its programs and activities. No further questions will be accepted after this date and time. The City will not be responsible for unsuccessful submittal of questions. Written answers to all questions submitted will be posted on the Purchasing website on or about Monday, November 28, 2022. The City reserves the discretion to group similar questions to provide a single answer or not to respond when the requested information is confidential. The answers re not typically considered an addendum. The contract will be for a one-year period. The City reserves the right to cancel the contract for any reason, by written notice, as stipulated in the contract. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
