As of December 29, 2022, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. The City of Roanoke Alabama will be accepting sealed bids for the repair and Installation of a Roof at the Randolph County Museum located on Main street in Roanoke. All contractors bidding must have a City of Roanoke business license. Any contractor doing this work will be required to have in force and maintain a minimum of five hundred thousand dollars ($500,000) in liability insurance coverage. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids. Work to be done on the roof will include, but is not limited, providing all labor and materials to remove all shingles down to the deck. Remove existing flat roof down to the deck. Repair and replace any rotten or damaged wood rafters or decking. Install storm guard in the Valleys. Install synthetic underlayment to ensure roof is dry. Install Tamko starter shingles along all gutter lines and rake edges. Install Tamko Titan Dimensional shingles per specifications using 1 1/4 inch roofing nails. Install Tamko hip and ridge shingles. Install new ridge vents. Install new pipe and Chimney flashing. Mechanically attach a Dura-last 50 Mil. PVC membrane Roofing over approximately 3,500 square feet. Mechanically attached to existing metal deck. Install all penetration stacks, drains, flashing and counter flashing, drip edge. Membrane will be terminated up and over wall using snap compression edge. Clean up and dispose of all debris associated with the roofing work. Clean out gutters and gutters and downspouts. Provide 10-year workmanship warranty.
