Renovation of a municipal facility in Vancouver, British Columbia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
New cameras and wall mounted panic buttons to be added to the 16th, 17th, and 18th floor of Library Square Tower. New cameras will be installed to the lobby, hallway and stairwells on 20th floor as the tenant now occupy half the floor there. Incident notification lights and LCD wall displays will be installed on 16th, 17th, 18th and 20th floor. The servers managing the system are currently in the 17th floor Telecom/LAN room and a new server rack will be added to the room as the existing equipment is not properly housed on the current telecom rack. Existing system will need to remain active until new system is fully installed and commissioned, then old system can be decommissioned and removed. Old equipment should be properly sanitized and returned to tenant. Official bid documents must be obtained from www.bgis.merx.com and bid submissions must be done through the Merx platform. Award is subject to final approval.
