The anticipated services shall likely consist of, but shall not be limited to, the following: The Kinesiology, Wellness, Athletic Center (KWAC) project will construct new athletic and kinesiology facilities to replace existing, aging facilities. KWAC will consolidate these new facilities in the southwest quadrant of campus to the south of the football stadium. The primary building (approx. 64,000 ASF and 96,000 GSF) will include competitive gym for collegiate basketball, practice gym for additional indoor sports including wrestling, volleyball and badminton; office suites for Kinesiology and Athletics Departments faculty and staff; student and faculty/staff lockers; classrooms, labs, and other support facilities. The project will also construct a multi-purpose field (sized for collegiate soccer); a collegiate softball field; and associated support facilities such as batting cages, spectator seating and storage buildings. Site work will complete this project including fire lanes as needed for this site and adjacent college buildings, pedestrian and vehicular access throughout the site. There is significant site slope from north to south. This project must be fully accessible both indoors and outdoors, and across the site. Demolition of existing facilities on construction completion and site restoration of those sites is anticipated to be part of this project. Estimated Cost of Construction: $110M
