Mankato/North Mankato Area Planning Organization (MAPO) has released three (3) separate Requests for Proposals (RFPs) to solicit responses from qualified firms interested in transportation planning services described in the proposals for the purposes of producing separate deliverables: 1) Americans with Disabilities Act Transition Plan Update in the MAPO planning area. 2) Balcerzak Drive Pedestrian Crossing Study in Mankato 3) Riverfront Drive Intersection Improvement Study in Mankato Each study will undergo a separate procurement/ranking/contract selection process. Proposals will be submitted individually per study. The firms selected must have experience and expertise in corridor transportation and multimodal planning, including (but not limited to) project management, public involvement, data collection and analysis, development of intersection control evaluations, financial resources, and a clear understanding of the MPO planning process and federal and state requirements.
