PROJECT OVERVIEW: The Carl Vinson VA Medical Center located in Dublin, Georgia is seeking a qualified Engineering firm to provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment, and design services to include Schematics, Design Development, Construction Documents, Technical Specifications, Construction Period Services, Site Visits, Cost Estimates, As-Built Documentation, and all other related services necessary for project 557-21-104, Correct Critical Parking and Accessibility Deficiencies. This project will correct specific identified failing FCA issues associated with parking, accessibility, curb, and gutter, as well as landscaping. Deficiencies include providing paved parking, adding required truncated domes and warning stripes per ABAAS requirements, adding necessary curb and gutters, and completing a master plan parking study. Project will ensure improved conditions to campus parking and accessibility. The location of this project is the site. Functions included in the project directly include parking and maintenance, however all aspects of staff and patient care will be improved by the correction of failing access systems. Realign parking will need to provide standoff space around buildings utilizing passive barriers or planters or other objects/barriers to prevent vehicle parking. Provide access control gates at service yard and engineering area in order to separate staff and visitor/patient parking. Install call-boxes in areas where parking is in an isolated area.
