Site work for a water / sewer project in Maryville, Tennessee. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Bid Security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the amount of the Bid must accompany each Bid. No bid may be withdrawn within sixty (60) days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of Bids. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, to waive irregularities in the Bids, and to determine the lowest responsible Bidder. All Bidders must be licensed Contractors as required by the Contractor's Licensing Act of 1976 (latest revision). Bidder's name, license number, expiration date and that part of classification which applies must be on the sealed envelope containing the executed Bid Proposal. Subcontractor's information, where applicable, must also be included on the sealed envelope. Electrical, plumbing, masonry and, HVAC subcontractors with an interest in the Bid must be listed on the envelope. If no electrical, plumbing, masonry or HVAC subcontractors will be utilized, note these as "Not Applicable". Contractors must comply with all Drug Free Workplace Requirements. The work in general consists of the construction of the following: 1. New 2,000,000 gallon pre-stressed concrete reservoir and appurtenances. 2. Tank mixing system. 3.Precast electrical/ instrumentation building. 4. Electrical and instrumentation equipment. 5. Site grading and access road construction. 6. Erosion and sediment control. 7. Other items required for a complete, functional installation. The allotted time for construction is 210 calendar days.
