The locations currently requiring service include: *Blount County Courthouse, 389 Court St., Maryville, TN 37804; *Blount County Public Library, 508 Cusick Street, Maryville, TN 37804; *Blount County Animal Center, 233 Currie Avenue, Maryville, TN 37804; and *Blount County Adult Probation, 1006 E. Lamar Alexander Pkwy., Maryville, TN 37804. It is the intent of this Invitation to Bid (ITB) to procure a contract for general lawn care services to include mowing, edging, weed control, sweeping/vacuuming/blowing, grooming of shrubs, and, if requested, snow/ice removal and soft washing/pressure washing for the Blount County Courthouse, Public Library, Adult Probation, and Animal Center. When registered, vendors may submit questions via the Questions tab for this ITB in the online bidding system. Questions may also be emailed to jpeffley@blounttn.org. Please make note of the question deadline. Prior to bid submission, it is the bidder's responsibility to access the online bidding system and ascertain they have received any addenda and viewed answers to published questions and respond accordingly. Contract Term: If contract award is made, the initial term will be February 01, 2023 through January 31, 2024. The contract will have the option to renew annually for four additional years if agreeable to both parties. Should services no longer be needed for any location, the County shall give the contractor a 30-day written notice. The contract may be cancelled with or without cause by either party with a 30-day written notice. In the event the contractor chooses not to renew or cancels the contract, the County reserves the right to award to the next best bidder from this ITB or rebid the services.
