Site work and renovation of a mixed-use development in Raleigh, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility; for site work for a fire / police facility; municipal facility; and municipal facility.

The City of Raleigh Police Department requests proposals to renovate the existing space that is within the service center into office space for the RPD Greenway Unit at 1221 Front Street, Raleigh NC 27609. The scope of work associated with this project is to remove the existing chain-link fence and enclose mezzanine; extend existing knee wall from top of wall to deck above; modify sprinkler and HVAC as required; existing chain-link fence door to remain - replace hardware with code compliant lever; install power pole or wall whip to provide power to new workstations (electrical contractor to provide power connections); install 3 new exposed conduit wall outlets; demo existing suspended strip lighting; install new suspended LED 2 x 4 at same height or higher than the lowest element of the structure above; install new broadloom carpet with 4 cove rubber base; paint the entire office wall space which does not include ceiling space and provide an onsite roll off dumpster for construction debris. Please see attached plan. It is the intent of the City of Raleigh that this project will be bid as a single prime contract and awarded as such. Bidders will be required to show evidence that they are licensed to perform the work in the Bidding Documents as required by North Carolina General Statute, Chapter 87 and the Instruction to Bidders. Total cost of this project will be included within the bid package along with an itemized cost. All labor, materials, equipment and permitting fees in relation to the purpose of this project are to be included with the total cost.
