This RFP is for Construction Management services for Series 1 only. Construction Management Services are not required for Technology, Buses, FF&E and other miscellaneous items included as part of Series 1. The net project costs in Series 1 that will require Construction Management services is estimated to be base bid $23M and Bid Alternate 1 $13M (not including the cost of related design and CM services). The Districts Bond Issue does not include any new construction or additions, but does include remodeling work at (6) District buildings. The Application for Preliminary Qualification of Bonds is attached and outlines the work expected to be completed in each series, although some adjustments may be made. It is presumed there will be compliance with all permits, laws, and regulations for projects of the nature outlined in the application. The list of general requirements is enclosed. Your response to this request will enable the District to assess both the experience and expertise that your organization has in the area of K-12 school work. Saline Area Schools feels strongly that all potential vendors are to be provided fair treatment.
